Bourne Research names 10 coolest advanced tech consumer products of 2007

Bourne Research has issued its second annual list of the ten coolest consumer products of 2007. The list ranges from cookware to underwear to Guitar Hero III. Products are chosen for their innovative use of nanotech, MEMS and other next-generation technologies. All 10 products are available to consumers today and range in price from less than $15 to more than $100,000.

“What makes these ten products so cool is their innovative use of emerging technologies,” said Marlene Bourne, President & Principal Analyst of Bourne Research. “From nanomaterials and MEMS sensors, to completely novel technological approaches, they offer an intriguing glimpse at what the future holds for the consumer.”

The Bourne Report’s Ten Coolest Consumer Products of 2007 includes “must-have” items such as next-generation cookware, fishing poles, hockey skates and even underwear. A few of the products include Guitar Hero III from Red Octane, iSOBOT from TOMY, and the Tesla Roaster from Tesla Motors.
